The intervention did its job. Nobody built you a system for what comes after.

Practical systems for keeping the weight off after bariatric surgery or GLP-1 medication — for the stretch where the medical support fades and you're the one holding the line.

The person behind this

I'm not writing about this problem. I lived every stage of it.

340 → 119 lb
(154 → 54 kg) at 5'5" — maintained 1.5+ years
2 years
on GLP-1 — three different medications
3 years
post gastric sleeve — honeymoon long over
Every diet
you can name. Probably twice.

Decades of diets, camps, coaches, and trainers. Two years of GLP-1 injections that worked — until they ended and the weight came back. Then gastric sleeve surgery, the honeymoon phase, and the part nobody prepares you for: the day it's just you again. What I sell here is the system I built to survive exactly that — by trial and error, through every way this can go wrong.

I write under a pen name, and there's an honest reason for that. We're also a very small team with one mission: to be there for the people who are alone at the front when the external help stops working.

The methodology

The Simeone Maintenance Method

One method behind every product, forged through every failure mode of weight maintenance — after diets, after GLP-1, after surgery. Four steps, applied over and over:

STEP 1

Name the real problem

Without blame. What is actually happening — not what you "should" be doing.

STEP 2

Explain the mechanism

Hunger, habits, physiology — when you know why, it stops feeling like a character flaw.

STEP 3

Split control from noise

Separate what you can control from what you can't — and stop fighting the second group.

STEP 4

Turn it into a system

Concrete, repeatable actions that work on the days motivation doesn't show up.

Every book, workbook, registry, and card deck below is an application of this method — the situations differ, the method doesn't.

Path one

GLP-1 Exit Alumni

For the period after your last dose — when appetite and food noise come back and nothing but structure stands between you and the old patterns.

Path two

Post-Bariatric Alumni

For life after the bariatric honeymoon phase ends — holding the line on what surgery already gave you.
